A Smartly Designed Cottage

The Norland is a three bedroom beauty that’s perfect for vacationing with family and friends. This cottage’s smart design is ideal for a lakeside location. It boasts three spacious bedrooms, a great room, a mudroom, a kitchen, a dining room, a porch and two bathrooms, one of which is an ensuite connected to the master bedroom. The addition of a larger view enhancing porch and a deck that runs around the perimeter of the cottage is also an option.

A Spacious Interior

Something many cottages need, but sadly lack is space. Our designers thought ahead, and crafted the Norland with space in mind. This design gives you plenty of room for indoor activities for those rainy days.

The great room serves as a huge family room for guests to sprawl out and relax by the fireplace (another optional feature). The open concept design of the social rooms of this cottage offer plenty of flexibility for a wide range of furnishings. The dining room and kitchen complete with a breakfast bar share the other half of the social space allowing for the easy flow of foot traffic and conversation between all three rooms. The cathedral ceiling overhead is the perfect finishing touch.

If, like most people your trips to the cottage include tons of gear for outdoor fun, we’ve added a mudroom area with plenty of cubicles and closet space. The Norland comes with a cozy porch that’s perfect for outdoor entertaining and summer drinks at twilight.

Optional Goodies

Let’s dive a little deeper on those optional features. On its own, the Norland is a knock-out, but if you’d like to take things up a notch, we offer some optional features that are sure to please.

If you plan on spending a lot of time outdoors but you’d prefer to do so close by and in style, consider adding the optional porch and deck. The deck extends from one of the bedrooms to all the way around the cottage to the outer edge of the great room. The optional screened porch comes off the dining room—a convenient setup for dinner parties.

Our interior options include stone and solid countertops, hardwood flooring and fixtures that come in numerous colour palettes to suit a variety of tastes.
