This spring, Quality Homes passed an exciting new milestone—our first ever Suite was officially delivered!

A HOMEOWNER’S JOURNEY

I’m quite excited and proud to be a homeowner, finally.

After years of being stuck in the rental market, Andrew knew that he had to get creative if he wanted to become a homeowner.

Andrew was determined to find a solution that would allow him to own a home without the prohibitive costs and complexities often associated with traditional home buying. He explored numerous options, including tiny homes and other modular units, but none offered the blend of quality, space, and affordability he wanted.

That’s when he discovered Quality Homes and our Suite Collection. As a licensed homebuilder renowned for our innovative housing solutions, Andrew knew he had finally found a partner to bring his dream to life.

THE SUITE COLLECTION: A PERFECT FIT

The same as our regular four-season detached homes but occupying a smaller footprint, our Suites are ideal for properties of various sizes. They can be used as an additional residence on your land that’s independent of your existing home, which is a great solution for aging parents or adult children to live nearby but independently.

The Suite Collection stands out from other traditional “tiny homes” due to its larger square footage, absence of lofts or stairs, and compliance with CSA A277 certification.

Quality Homes provides an initial assessment to determine the suitability of a Suite for your property, taking into account municipal regulations and zoning requirements. For Andrew, this assessment was the first step in a smooth and efficient process that would ultimately lead to his dream home.

FROM PLANNING TO DELIVERY

“The entire process, from thinking about it to ordering it and finally having it delivered, took less than six months,” Andrew recalls. “The team at Quality Homes made everything so straightforward.”

The process began with an initial assessment of Andrew’s property, followed by the selection of a design that met his needs. We then constructed the Suite in our state-of-the-art modular production facility, ensuring precision and quality control.

Andrew decided on The Foxboro B, a contemporary 636 sq. single-module home with a compact 48’x 14’ footprint. A combination of dark neutral siding and stone creates a striking, modern aesthetic for the exterior of the suite, with a covered front porch for an inviting entrance to the home.

Inside, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath home features a foyer that provides access to an open-concept kitchen and living room area. The full size kitchen was customized to Andrew’s colour choices and offers ample storage, especially with the large kitchen pantry. The primary bedroom features an oversized closet with a conveniently placed washer/dryer, and the bathroom includes a tub/shower combo.

Andrew’s brand new home is packed with stunning features like a cozy electric fireplace and soaring cathedral ceilings throughout, to add to the feelings of spaciousness and comfort the suite provides. A shiplap fireplace surround adds texture and visual interest to the main living space.

Andrew chose finishes that kept things simple, light, and airy, allowing the view of his rural surroundings to remain a focus.

THE BIG DAY

Before the big delivery day, the property was well-prepped and helical piles were installed to have the suite set into place.
